Chris Godfrey's amazing product design.

French onion soup with fresh thyme and gruyère cheese; a light coconut crȇpe, wrapped around halibut delicately poached in truffle butter followed by forest foraged ramp risotto topped with prosciutto and dusted with fresh parmesan. For afters - crack pie with milk ice cream balanced on a vanilla tuile followed by a French canelé with a malt barley and hazelnut latté. 12 whole courses and guess what - in one gelatinous can of Heston-meets-Willy-Wonka  genius.

I don't think Chris Godfrey intends for anyone to actually eat his 12-course can creation entitled 'All In One' but it remains an interesting albeit stomach churning comment on today's foodie consumerist climate. We want it tastier, healthier, faster and easier. It's no mean feat. Maybe one day when meat is no longer readily available and the crop fields lay bear we will turn to our stock-piled 12-course cans and devour them gratefully.

“It offers the Average Joe the chance to dine like royalty without the washing up,”  States Chris.

All In One is not the only bright idea product design extraordinaire Chris Godfrey has conjured up. 'Left Handed' is a beautifully crafted book designed to redress the world’s inherent predisposition towards right-handers.

Chris states; 'We live in a world which is dominated by the right hand. Experts estimate that 80-90% of the world population are right handed. Objects such as pens, cutlery, scissors and books are all designed to suit the right handed person. The qwerty keyboard is a rare exception. There are 1447 words in the Oxford English Dictionary that can be typed using only the left hand, in comparison to a mere 187 available by the right. To honour this rare victory for the lefties I created a dictionary in a format that celebrates the left and its dominance over its counterpart.'

What Chris Godfrey will decide to cook up next remains to be seen but you can bet your bottom dollar it will be revolutionary.
