Well, if you haven’t already heard (or seen us shouting from the rooftops about it) - we won this years ‘Small Agency of the Year’ in Creativepool’s 2017 Annual Awards, held at Protein Studios.
Yes, that’s right. The 4th edition of Creativepool's Annual Awards left us with their coveted gold hardback version of their Annual, including a one-page feature (proudly positioned on our coffee table of course), and the title of 2017’s ‘Small Agency of the Year’.

Our judging panel included creative leaders such as, CCO of McCann Worldgroup, Lars Killi, Elisa Silva, Skype’s Global Creative Lead and Paul Gascoigne, the Group Creative Director at Momentum Worldwide. And this year, they selected The Flash Pack for 2017’s best ‘Small Agency of the Year’.
We’re proud to win this award because Creativepool is the leading network for agencies, brands and individuals. Originally formed in 2005, the creative network transitioned from a digital portfolio for creative individuals, to the hyper-connected industry network it is today.
Moving on from the traditional portfolio website setting, Creativepool has been transforming the way creatives showcase their work, allowing for more connectivity and networking opportunities. his was apparent in the 4th edition of their Annual Awards ceremony. Last year we saw Creativepool announce their People's Choice option, a dual voting opportunity which allowed creatives and agencies the chance to vote for participants - activating individuals to engage with the awards and provide a democratic approach for the creative community.
This was an exciting event, not just for the awarding ceremony but the chance to partner with the creative network, and really engage with the participants. As their photography partners, we created an immersive, photographic art installation - a full custom photo-booth rig with 15 cameras fixed on a curve, capturing incredible double exposures. Photos were turned into 3D videos and then broadcast to social networks using the hashtag, #Annual2017.

Creativepool value creative freedom and being brave in experimentation just as much as we do, and that’s why they were a brilliant partner to work with. The calibre of audiences and brands they attract, give proof to the creative platform they’ve built.
Other partners included Crate Brewery for refreshments, Clove who supplied amazing Mediterranean canapes, and MassiveMusic for the night’s entertainment. Using a separate room to host the rig, we didn’t want to detract from the evening’s celebrations. And with a constant stream of curious award-goers and participants, it was clear that this was the perfect accompaniment to the event.
Judging from our own experiences of the night and from looking at 2016 & 2017's stats - we can see Creativepool's Annual Awards are more than a success. They’ve truly understood how to evolve their platform, and reimaging award ceremonies for the creative industry. Once the stats from this year are released, we’ll make sure to update the article, and show you just how the awards are evolving.
