"I,m a 3d character artist based in London. I specialise in character modeling, digital sculpting, texturing and concept design. As with any good character artist, since childhood I have intently drawn and studied animals, monsters and creatures. Perhaps more unusually, this has very much continued into my adulthood. I still carry this same passion for characters as a "grown-up", and have a sketchbook on me all the time where I draw a character every time I get on a bus. I spent several years working as an illustrator and concept artist; during which time I also graduated in fine art from Accademia di Belle arti of Bologna. I then went on to do a Post Graduate Diploma in 3d Character Animation at Central St. Martins London. I currently work as Concept Artist, Character Modeler, Texture Artist and I,ve just successfully completed a project working on the head models, sculpting details, blend shapes and texture maps of several hero characters, and am looking to join a strong team on an exciting new project!"

How long have you been a Freelancer for?
I,ve been a freelancers for 7 years working as an illustrator and concept artist and 2-3 years ago I switched to the 3d world and since then I,m still freelancing.

Describe your work in one sentence.
Multifaceted character artist, from ideas to concepts and from concepts to life!

What,s the most important thing you,ve learnt in your line of work?
Keep calm and carry on!

What attracted you to your chosen field?
I,ve been drawing worlds, monsters and characters since I was a child and this is pretty much what I believe I,ve been made for! At some point bored of still images and illustrations I felt the need to create something more alive and this brought me in the 3d world!

Tell us about your best project to date.
Every monster I made!

What sets you apart from your competitors?
I can draw/visualise and therefore model almost everything a client would need in any style. I,m great for pitches too: In one of the company I work with we won a pitch for a very important client, the guys had great written ideas and surely my concepts illustrations helped to visualise them to the client.
Uh, almost forgot, I,m an hard worker and I do genuinely care about every project I work on!

If you could work on any project for any company/organisation, what would it be and who would it be for?
I usually get to work in advertising which I love, but unfortunately they rarely need monsters so I,d probably say every film, game or animation company that needs loads of monsters and creatures! (did I already say I like monsters?)

What frustrates you the most about your job?
Days are only 24 hours long!
