‘Art needs love, dedication and constance'

Describe your work in one sentence.
I transform ideas in images and projects in Art.

What's the most important thing you've learnt in your line of work?
-Team working. With a group that believes in you there is no limit to the achievement you can reach and if you are not jealous of your knowledge, you can "produce" and "evolve" many great helpers.

What attracted you to your chosen field?
Since I was a child I had images in my head; what motivated me to become an artist was the will to learn the ability to transfer the images from my mind to the paper. I started by drawing, than painting, after I started using computer graphics and finally I became a digital painter and a 3D modeler.

Tell us about your best project to date.
There where many projects I am proud of. I can't forget the first work I did as art director, it was named "Computer di più" and it sold 250.000 copies. An amazing starting point. I also love my another creature, "APP Magazine", at the moment the most sold Apple magazine in Italy. Actually I am working at the creative direction of a game named Elvethe, I am placing in it a lot of myself.

What sets you apart from your competitors?
I am calm, elegant and I am not afraid of anything, including hard-working. I am also gifted with "photographic imagination". I can see the end of a work before tracing the first line of it

Tell us a random fact about yourself.
When I was a child I had hallucinations, I did see people moving in my room in the night, faces coming out from furniture and one day I even heard a crowd of voices screaming in my ears. Just to let you know, I am NOT crazy, I hate the stereotype of "mad artist", Art needs love, dedication and constance, all things that can't be made by an insane mind.

If you could work on any project for any company/organisation, what would it be and who would it be for?
Blizzard, I love their products, some of their games are pieces of art. A possible position inside that company could be Concept artist, Artworker and/or Art Director

What's your favourite bit of kit?
My Cintiq 21, a great tool for a painter! I also love the system I built in my victorian house by attaching a modded Intuos to a fake rusty cable that goes to a projector and a MacMini. With this gimmick I can paint on a 5 mt wall projected image that come out from a brass colored device on the ceiling.

What frustrates you the most about your job?
- I think the worst thing you can find in a workplace is the envy of some colleagues. That is not only pathetic, but also team crushing.

What pearl of wisdom can you offer to someone thinking about starting out in your industry?
If you want to learn something start copying from someone that is very good on it. The best way to improve your technique is studying the masters!

If you could have ONE super power, what would it be?
Teleportation, I love traveling the world and that power may help me a lot. It may also be a great help to deal with all my customers :)

What do you like about Creativepool?
CP allows me to see how many work opportunities are around the world. That is a great thing to help people to open their eyes on the market!

What's your favourite song of all time?
Since Art has a thousand faces, I have not my favorite song. I love to be a shape-shifter, this help me a lot to change my artistic style letting me be inspired by many different musicians. I don't mind if they are Piazzolla, De Andrè, System of a Down or Battiato.

And finally, what can a prospective customer expect from you?
I am a great fan of good manners; my customer will face a dynamic
polite and reserved consultant. My colleagues will find a friend, a guide and a leader.

The Brands Pushing Back Against Fast Fashion #SustainabilityMonth

Fashion has always been anathema to me. You could diplomatically refer to my wardrobe as “functional” and I’m unlikely to spend more than a few fleeting seconds deciding what to wear in the morning. I do, however, understand the...
