‘I'm a young freelance designer with a penchant for vector illustration.'

How long have you been a Freelancer for?
4 Years. I started freelancing whilst studying for my undergraduate degree in graphic design.

Describe your work in one sentence.
An interesting and eclectic mix of art & design mediums and disciplines, from vector illustration to web design.

What's the most important thing you've learnt in your line of work?
No matter how much you think you know, there is so much more to learn!

What attracted you to your chosen field?
I taught myself Photoshop in secondary school when I was bored, and from there discovered the world of creativity.

Tell us about your best project to date.
My best project to date is also one of the smallest. It was to create an identity for the notion of being ‘green' and recycling at Reading & Leeds Festival. This was used throughout the campsites and arenas 2009 to present. It was a short/sharp project, but as music is a big interest and inspiration, it's a project I really loved working on.

What sets you apart from your competitors?
I have a firm grounding in many design disciplines, am always building on my skill-sets, and can create effective outcomes from any given brief. I span the genres.

If you could work on any project for any company/organisation, what would it be and who would it be for?
I'd love to work on apparel or board graphics for a brand like Quiksilver.

What frustrates you the most about your job?
When the web browser crashes half way through typing out an email.

What pearl of wisdom can you offer to someone thinking about starting out as a freelancer?
Networking and freebies are priceless to someone starting out and looking to gain clients and job leads.

If you could have ONE super power, what would it be?
The power of eternal life. Life is just awesome.

My Canon 1000D, I can pretend to know what I'm doing with it…

Tell us a random fact about yourself.
I'm an avid classic Volkswagen enthusiast.

What's your favourite song of all time?
Deftones – My Own Summer

iPhone or Blackberry?
iPhone, though currently rocking a Samsung.

Too Cool for School or too School for Cool?
Too legit to quit.
