Puck Collective Launches The Jungle Book Club

Published by

Get yourself lost in the leafy undergrowth and howl with the wild beasts of Puck Collective's Jungle Book Club! Last Thursday (April 16th) we visited the launch and exhibition exploring the scale and beauty of the Jungle fauna with proportional artworks that reflect the size of the animals depicted, from the great to the small.

The Book Club in Shoreditch and also branching across to their sister establishment, Stories, The Jungle Book Club will bring together Puck's 32 member strong lineup of illustrators, printmakers, painters, potters and paper cutters to work on one big showcase. Each collective member will produce a design inspired by a Jungle animal at a scale suited to said creature, large for large and small for small, resulting in a unique Jungle adventure for you to explore.

The Stories exhibition will be launching this Thursday, 23rd April 2015 from 6PM - 1AM.  30 - 32 Broadway Market, London, E8 4QJ.

In true Puck fashion, there will be a range of events, games and workshops at the jungle themed ‘Puck Drawing Clubs’ that will enhance the experience and give you an opportunity to get involved with the spectacle. These will run throughout the event so stay tuned for more info.

Puck Collective is an evolving group of creatives from around the world. Founded in 2010 by 5 illustrators and artists, Puck has grown into one of the largest and most revered illustration collectives in the UK.

What makes Puck unique is that every year they launch a call for entries in order to replenish and invigorate the group with fresh work, new ideas and exciting creatives. Each year, the roster will have a limited amount of spaces, trying to bring in the right mix of people to produce shows and exhibitions, create print runs, small press comics and generally have a whole load of fun in the process.

During that year all members contribute towards the publication "Puck Collected" showcasing the groups art, talent and creativity in a beautifully produced limited edition run. These are launched once a year, with new content every issue.

If you are interested in joining Puck Collective, stay tuned as we will be announcing the next round of entries on Creativepool in the future.
