How long have you been a Freelancer for?
I have been a freelancer for nine months now.

Describe your work in one sentence.
Imaginative and highly detailed.

Who are some of the clients you have worked for?
Crane 3D, Hampshire Constabulary Police, Pharmiweb and Chameleon Worldwide, the Railway Inn.

What's the most important thing you've learned in your line of work?
Be adaptable and ask the right questions to define the brief.

What attracted you to your chosen field?
I have always been inspired by the visual arts, and after an art degree retrained as a graphic designer, which has opened many doors.

Tell us about your best project to date.
Working with Crane 3D i was asked to design some concept sketches for the reworking of the tortoise and hare story. This was for an augmented reality story book, where you could hold you iphone or ipad to a marker on the page and see animations of the scene. I really clicked with the 3d animator and the process went really smoothly.

What sets you apart from your competitors?
In my graphic design it is an ability to visualise and hand draw my ideas before starting on the computer. And in my illustration it would be the imaginative elements that come naturally to me.

If you could work on any project for any company/organisation, what would it be and who would it be for?
would it be and who would it be for? I would love to work on a children's / fantasy book maybe for Macmillan, or on some album covers for a progressive music label.

What frustrates you the most about your job?
Jokingly I would say the time between invoice and payment, but to be honest it has to be keeping a steady workflow.

What pearl of wisdom can you offer to someone thinking about starting out as a freelancer?
Try and network as much as possible, be adaptable and keen and get your invoice in as soon as you can.

If you could have ONE super power, what would it be?
The ability to change my body density, to be able to float like a gas or become tougher than steel.

What's your favourite bit of kit?
My rotring isograph pens!

Tell us a random fact about yourself.
I work on collaborative artworks with artists from all over the world via post in the 'exquisite corpse' style of the surrealists.

What's your favourite song of all time?
Thats very tricky, I love John Martyn and one of my favourites is 'go down easy'.

What is your favourite app?
At the moment its Draw Something

Facebook or Twitter?
