*"Breathingjuice produces digital design and motion graphics for a wide range of clients and the very best creative agencies. We create digital content that can work across multiple platforms including website channels, social media campaigns, mobile applications, live events, exhibitions and outdoor advertising."

What do you actually do?
Everything from responding to a brief to producing the final piece of digital design or motion graphics. We're now focusing on working with the right kind of clients so that breathingjuice can create a healthy working relationship and evolve with them as their digital requirements continue to develop.

What would you be doing if you weren't doing that?
Travelling, exploring and taking photos.

How did you get started in the industry?
Completed a Design and Art Direction degree in Manchester and then contacted loads of London creative agencies both large and small until I found a junior role with The New Media Works.

What's your current favourite piece of creative work at the moment?
Loving the animation "Stuxnet: Anatomy of a Computer Virus" by Patrick Clair.

What do you love about your job?
The variety within a single day, the flexibility I have running my own business and the people I meet whilst forming project specific teams.

If you could give one piece of advice for someone starting out, what would it be?
When contacting people about potential work, internships or advice then always personalise emails as there is nothing worse than being part of a mass generic mail out.

If you have one Super power what would it be?
Travel anywhere in the world very quickly.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
Even happier than I am now.

What was your worst job and what did you learn from it?
Being very badly micromanaged at digital fashion agency whilst trying to freelance for them — lesson learnt (and this is something that I pass on to people who freelance for breathingjuice) is that it's always much better to give people space to design and be creative.

You have already worked with some amazing brands, who would you like to work with next?
I'd love to win our current pitch to create a promotional video for a well known UK charity but hopefully I can say more about that on the breathingjuice website within the next few weeks.

iPhone or Blackberry?
iPhone

Your favourite app?
It changes all the time but currently +loop is a fun split screen video app.

Too Cool for School or too School for Cool?
Too Cool for Cool.

Facebook or Twitter?
Twitter.

Eat In or eat out?
Eat Out.

The Brands Pushing Back Against Fast Fashion #SustainabilityMonth

Fashion has always been anathema to me. You could diplomatically refer to my wardrobe as “functional” and I’m unlikely to spend more than a few fleeting seconds deciding what to wear in the morning. I do, however, understand the...
