*"MintTwist is a London based, full service Digital Agency. Working with SMEs and Corporates in the UK, Europe and the Middle East, we help design and implement digital strategies that deliver a measurable ROI."

What do you actually do?
I oversee the operations and finance departments along with heavy involvement in developing our satellite offices in Dubai, Portugal & Switzerland. We also have a USA office in the pipeline for 2013.

*
What would you be doing if you weren't doing that?
I'd probably have turned my hand to property development.

How did you get started in the industry?
Having studied software engineering at university I worked my way up the programming ladder at a direct marketing agency. Towards the late 90's the work started to become much more web based and in 2002 I left there to start MintTwist. It is our 10 year anniversary in May 2012.

What's your current favourite piece of creative work at the moment?
For simplicity Tumblr . For Speed Jaguar.

*
What do you love about your job?
Without a doubt the people I work with. We have a truly amazing team.

If you could give one piece of advice for someone starting out, what would it be?
Get some industry experience as soon as possible. Academia and real life are worlds apart.

If you have one Super power what would it be?
Teleportation - I'm impatient!

*
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Sensible.

What was your worst job and what did you learn from it?
The graveyard shift at a local cinema. I learned to deal with serious repetition (I must have watched Speed 40 times in 3 weeks) and worked hard at learning to organise my own thoughts.

You have already worked with some amazing brands, who would you like to work with next?
I'd love to work on a project with a global consumer brand such as Nintendo, Lego, Superdry or Starbucks.

*
iPhone or Blackberry?
iPhone, obviously.

Your favourite app?
I'm seriously loving Instagram at the moment.

Too Cool for School or too School for Cool?
Too cool for school

Facebook or Twitter?

The role of Adland in the climate crisis

It’s a problem as old as advertising itself, much debated in the industry every time one dares unearth the topic: Adland sells stuff. As such, it is intrinsically in Adland’s nature to be utterly and completely unable to reach true...
