Seven reasons why you should definitely enter the Creativepool Annual 2020

Published by

With just under a fortnight left until late submissions close, we thought we’d take a few moments to toot our own horn (so to speak) and underline a few of the reasons why you seriously don’t want to miss out on entering your work for this year’s Creativepool Annual.

For the seventh year running, the Annual will be offering a collection of the best campaigns, brands, agencies, influencers and newcomers from the past year and will showcase their work to the industry at large.

So, here are five reasons why you should be using this weekend not to stock up on toilet roll and hand sanitiser but to prepare your work for submission into the creative industry’s “most” award.

1. Most Distributed

*

Every year we print 5,000 copies of the annual and distribute it across the creative world. Your work will be landing on the desks of some of the world’s leading brands and agencies. Not only that, but all winners will receive a literal badge of honour on their Creativepool profiles - a shortlist and winners badge that will improve their ranking and give major bragging rights.

2. Most Voted

*

The Creativepool Annual remains the only creative awards show to include a People’s Choice award in every category. This means you’re not just going to have your work looking over by our esteemed panel of over 200 judges but by the entire Creativepool community. Our list of judges this year, meanwhile, is more diverse than ever before, so whichever area of the industry you’re looking to gain traction in, we have you covered!

3. Most Shared

*

Not only will all winning work be presented in the beautifully designed annual, but all winners will also receive their very own, limited edition hardcover Annuals, resplendent in Gold, Silver or Bronze. It will look incredible on your coffee table (or in your downstairs bathroom). All winners will also be granted free Creativepool Pro membership for three months. And who doesn’t love free stuff?

4. Most Collaborative

*

The Annual can be a gigantic boost to your career. Tens of thousands of creatives will come together to see your work. You will receive prestige, visibility and expert feedback from our jury of professionals.

5. Most Carbon-Positive

*

This year, we’ve doubled down on our commitment to keeping the creative industries carbon-neutral by teaming up with Project Crimson, the Woodland Trust and the Nature Conservancy. Not only will we be donating 10% of all profits made from the Annual, but all paper used within it will be made from recycled materials (wherever possible). Our goal is to offset 5 times as much carbon as we have created in the Annual’s production. So you won’t need to feel guilty about taking one home!

6. Most Useful

*

The Annual is what your career deserves. Boost your credentials and expand the reach of your work overnight. You'll also receive invaluable feedback from the judges, prestige, visibility and the honour of having your name sent straight to some of the best in the biz.

7. Most Partiest!

*

On May 28th, the creative industries will descend on London to celebrate an incredible year of work at the Creativepool Annual Launch. An opportunity not only to let your hair down amongst friends old and new but to network with clients, agency peers and other members of the ever-expanding Creativepool community, the launch has become one of the highlights of the creative calendar in recent years.

And did we mention there will be booze?
