ABOUT

Concept:
To create a consumer event that had mass appeal to generate media interest and demonstrate the versatility of peanut butter in a unique and innovative way, all whilst raising brand awareness for Whole Earth.  The event needed to feel ‘foodie’, the food served had to engage our audience and encourage conversation and the venue had to be a blank canvas to allow us to create a truly unique space.

Execution:
Nut-ting compares to fondue! We created a pop-up nut butter fondue bar in the heart of Shoreditch, converting an old warehouse into a fully functioning restaurant for just a few short days. We found the venue, hunted down a top chef to run our kitchen and develop our recipes and sourced the perfect fondue kits.

In the studio, our designers perfected every last detail to give the restaurant its own identity; from wall graphics and fon-do and fon-don’t placemats through to the toilet door signs for the fon-dudes and fon-dettes!

We launched one day before opening to the public with a press event for key media and journalists from Buzzfeed, LadBible, Stylist, Culture Trip, Cosmopolitan, Fabulous, Good Housekeeping, Grazia, Independent and London Evening Standard to name a few.

There was phenomenal interest from the media both before and after the event, and the coverage of the event reached over 200million consumers which far exceeded all expectations.

Over 250 peanut butter lovers were served a selection of 5 delicious recipes over the 2 days by our lovely front of house team.  To cater for all tastes savory spiced and Mediterranean fondues were on offer alongside sweet chocolately and pumpkin flavours, all served with delicious chicken, chorizo, toasted marshmallows and churros for dipping.

Results:
The ‘Nut Butter Bar’ was open to the public for two days on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th, and located in Shoreditch, London. Tickets were sold ahead of the opening and sold out within days.
