Madmicrobe Studios worked with RevHealth (agency client) to develop the static graphics and a 90-second 3D medical animation explaining Polycythemia Vera for PharmaEssentia (pharma client). Polycythemia Vera is a type of blood cancer, which causes your bone marrow to make too many red blood cells. These excess cells thicken your blood, slowing its flow, which may cause serious problems, such as blood clots.

Madmicrobe Studios were tasked with developing the storyboard, look & feel and cinematic concept, plus music and sound effects.
RevHealth were responsible for providing the script, story flow, and ensuring the medical accuracy of the animation. 11 Rounds of reviews were included in the schedule. The main goal was to create a light, airy and enlightening look. Once the storyboards and style frames were approved Madmicrobe went on to create the medical animation in six weeks.
