About me
I am a versatile designer with over eight years' experience across loungewear, lingerie, activewear and outerwear across both suppliers and retailers.
I have experience working with both jersey and woven fabrications with focus on innovation and sustainability. I have worked on both own buy product and designer collections across opening price point and exit price point.
I have worked on building a brand as well as re-branding existing. Worked closely with buying and merchandising teams. My main focus while I was at Debenhams was transforming the new brand Kley (loungewear) into a sustainable luxury brand so I gained plenty of experience in understanding and learning about the development of these garments all the way from development to production. We covered both woven and jersey fabrication and spent time trying to shift the focus to sustainable options on both.
I was the designer on Jasper Conran sleep and loungewear where I worked closely with the Jasper team, this was a great collaborative experience and we led the trend direction all the way through to production.
I have experience in consulting as a freelance senior designer for startup brand Fruity Booty, as featured in Vogue and Grazia. International business experience in the UK, China, South Africa, Portugal, Mauritius, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka
