Växtriket is a concept for a weekly subscription service for vegetarian food. Every week, you’ll get enough groceries for four dinners, for two people and a recipe booklet. The main goal was to simply inspire people to eat more green, since vegetarian food is generally a more sustainable choice than meat.

I made two versions of the boxes. Grön gourmet focusses on good, proper food and is aimed at adults who want to eat delicious, healthy food. Barnens gröna is directed at children, with the aim to teach them from an early age that vegetarian food can be fun and exciting.

The illustrations for the children’s boxes were inspired by old school posters and made with watercolour. For the adult’s boxes I chose a more typographic approach using names of all the ingredients in the box.​​​​​​​

For this project I also created a book outlining the entire process to discuss my thoughts and intentions behind each step. I used simple and clean typography with a lot of imagery from both the process as well as the final result.

To make things extra special, I decided to bind the book by hand into a proper hardback.
