ABOUT

Tree Aid Brand Identity Concept

This project was my first logo design project, completed during my second year as a design student. The brief was to create a meaningful visual identity for Tree Aid that reflected the organisation’s mission of supporting communities and restoring environments through sustainable, long-term action. Throughout the project, I was fortunate to be guided by experienced tutors who worked within respected and well-known branding agencies, providing valuable insight into the principles of identity design.

My approach focused on exploring the relationship between people and nature through research, sketch development, and refinement. The final symbol was formed from hands and organic shapes to create a tree, representing unity, care, empowerment, and collective action. The result was a distinctive identity concept that communicated growth, resilience, and positive change while establishing a strong visual connection between community support and environmental restoration.

Looking back, this project marked an important milestone in my design journey, introducing me to the fundamentals of branding, concept development, and logo design that continue to influence my work today.
