Rock4Aids is a benefit concert that generates funds used for educating the youth and raising social awareness on the truths of HIV. South Africa nurtures some disturbing misconceptions about HIV/Aids, and only by openly speaking about HIV can we hope to fight this. Cymbals, wrapped to represent giant condoms, carried the message that being silent about the issue is a huge part of the problem. These served as invites urging rock artists to help us make a noise and open up discussion on the subject through education.
