ABOUT

The brief for this project was simply to replace the old branding of the company, but no further requirements were given. My task was to to refresh the brand identity, replacing the existing cursive text mark and grey colour palette with something that brought new energy to the company's image.
With a really tight deadline, I had to come up with a new logo and colour palette ahead of upcoming marketing events.

I wanted something bold and energetic that incorporated the key elements of the business. I opted for a stitching motif to be repeated throughout the branding, and a t-shirt logomark incorporated in the text mark itself. It was also important to me that the logo displayed well on screens and could also be printed and embroidered onto clothing as this is the primary activity of the business. For this reason, the logo uses three solid Pantone matched colours, and can be easily displayed in either two or one colour without losing legibility.

The colours chosen were to indicate positive energy and reliability.
