Dear Sir/Madam,

Please consider my application for the position of copy writer with your company. I have a degree in Creative Writing, as well as extensive experience in writing for print media, having had numerous articles featured in The Lancashire Times, Student Direct and the ESEN Group family of magazines.

I have 18 months' very recent experience in online content management, specialising in the Tridion CMS. This role involved working closely with the client to create and upload content both for the master site and over 50 localised sites worldwide. Site testing, troubleshooting and working to strict publication deadlines were other key aspects of this role.

I am competent in HTML and am soon to commence a part-time course in web design. I am passionate about the written word and enthusiastic about the digital industry. I believe that my skills, experience and willingness to learn make me the ideal candidate to work alongside you in this venture.
