The subject of this project was revolved around a specific footwear construction called TUBULAR MOCCASIN.
OpuLace Moccasin is the name of my project which explore the universe of the tubular moccasin, taking inspiration from the Venetian Burano lace, which during the 16th century gained such fame that it became a status symbol for European nobles.

In this way, the project combined the beauty and the tradition of the Burano lace with the allure of the Renaissance period, showed up by the richness of the materials such as soft velvet and lace, enriched with pearls.
This materials’ choice make the moccasin quite precious, something unseen and wearable for special events.
