Lucy Sunderland Brand Designer and Illustrator

ABOUT

Overview:
CherishEd, a wonderful local charity, approached me to develop the branding and logo design for Storehouse, its community-focused space in Bradford. Alongside creating the visual identity, I designed flags and banners to promote the space and its Open Day. The aim was to create a welcoming, recognisable brand that reflected CherishEd’s mission and the positive impact Storehouse makes within the local community.

What I Did:
- Designed a distinctive logo and developed the visual identity for Storehouse
- Established a cohesive brand style that reflected the space’s welcoming, community-focused ethos
- Designed custom flags and banners to promote the Open Day and create a strong visual presence
- Ensured the branding worked consistently across different materials and physical touchpoints
- Created designs that helped communicate Storehouse’s purpose and connect with the local community

Outcome:
A cohesive brand identity and set of promotional materials that brought Storehouse’s vision to life. The logo, branding, flags, and banners work together to establish a recognisable identity for CherishEd’s community space, helping raise awareness of its work and create a welcoming presence in Bradford.

Storehouse offers a place for people to connect over coffee while supporting a wider mission to fund arts therapy programmes that promote mental well-being. This project was a fantastic opportunity to use purposeful design to support a charity making a meaningful difference in the local community.
