About me

I have recently completed my third year at the University of Westminster studying Literature and Linguistics, and am looking to gain experience using my written and creative skills in a working role.

I would like to apply for the freelance copywriter vacancy as advertised. In previous jobs I have assisted with marketing and have produced mail-outs aimed at prospective clients, and feel that my literary, linguistic, and creative skills would fit well with the requirements that copywriting demands. I have also recently completed a small copywriting job for the design company see-design, writing the meta-tags for one of the websites they are working on. This has given me a good insight into the requirements of freelance copywriting. I work well to deadlines and am a co-operative and responsible self-motivated person. Having also completed a course in Media, I have had some experience working on advertising projects, in a group capacity, and can work to a brief.

In the following two years I am also looking to further improve and explore my writing skills, by taking a part-time MA in Creative Writing, which I am due to start in September of this year.
