About me
Dear Sir or Madam
I am very passionate about graphic design as it has no boundaries allowing you to combine every form of creative media. I can be inspired by a film, an article in a newspaper or magazine, a piece of rubbish found in the street or even music. I am particularly interested in the way hand-made collage design can then be incorporated into a whole new dimension with the use of a Mac. I work extremely well within a team, and am also confident and capable of working independently.
My degree course has given me a wider perspective and broader way of thinking within such a cultured society. Projects which I have included in my portfolio are a series of double page spreads based on the fashion magazine 'i-d' - where I interviewed a stranger and worked on representing them - a series of photographs showing cultures in many different countries and a book called 'Memories Just Won't Fade' - focusing on the effects of Alzheimer's Disease.
The work within my portfolio is very dynamic and inventive, as my course encouraged us to explore every possibility.
I am confident on Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator, Image Ready.
I am currently looking for a full time position.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely
Lucie Oakley
