ABOUT

In a world saturated with stimuli, where every cake, every rose, and every image function as bait for instant dopamine, the protagonists of this series choose to close their eyes. They do not consume, they do not bite, they do not participate in the immediate banquet.

The cake, excessive and flawless, symbolizes contemporary “likes”: sweet, fleeting, shining on the surface, yet lacking real nourishment. They are the empty calories of desire—images devoured by the gaze and gone without leaving a trace.

Headphones, symbols of isolation, act as a barrier against the hypnotic call of instant pleasure. They are a form of noise cancelling—not against sound, but against the noise of desire, against the inertia of consuming simply because the world demands it. Temptation is suspended, pleasure deferred.

Nothing here is touched or tasted. Everything is a simulation of pleasure. The sweet no longer feeds the body but the aesthetic, the image itself. Its function is not to be eaten but to be contemplated, shared, photographed.

The protagonists, with their eyes closed and solemn gestures, seem to remind us that there is another possibility: to stop, to resist, to remain silent before the mandate of consumption. Their silence is also a declaration: not everything desirable must be consumed.
