Logo I designed for Empire Custom, a surfboard custom shape brand, based in the heart of Muizenberg - the Capetonian village renown for is booming surf culture.

The geometric triangles resting upon the curved line whithin the icon symbolize the iconic Muizenberg mountain range which towers above the ocean. The icon also forms the image of a crown, further reflecting the theme and name of the brand. For the business card I created a playful repeat print, using the organic lines of the ocean taken from the logo. A watermark of the crown emblem is embedded into this pattern using negative space.
