The concept of this book was to try and show anybody, who hadn't had experience in dealing with a mental illness, to try and get a glimpse of the battle that goes on continuously throughout the mind of someone who suffers with depression. The depression itself is characterised as its own entity in this publication, fighting against what is at first a small grain of hope, which eventually over-powers the depression which is represented by the darkness slowly fading out.
