About me

My current role as a project coordinator at BBC means I am responsible for scheduling, budgeting and managing the projects that we run regularly across all BBC sites, this requires initiative to work around many of the obstacles which we face, I work with data teams to build the best analytics and reporting tools for the project.

My resourcefulness and proactiveness has helped me with identifying appropriate resources and problem solving at the earliest possible stage and dealing with all the issues which arise across the projects.

In my role in News working on the OpenMedia project I learnt a lot about broadcast and digital media environments, this required an abundance of 'thinking outside the box' to implement training strategies to fit around broadcasting.

I have advanced Excel skills which I use to create complex reports and analysis.

I regularly assist with planning and improving the project plan which involves constant assessment of the project timeline with all of the team and stakeholders. I hold regular meetings with the team to assess resource requirements.

I enjoy working on projects from the start and seeing them through to completion and have had great experiences of this in past roles at the media agency and at BBC.

I have been working across technical software projects at BBC and have learnt a great deal about software development and web technologies. I also manage large amounts of data across CRM systems and regularly create reports for different audiences from this data. I am comfortable implementing IT solutions; I often worked on site with the Windows 10 project to assist with the software upgrades, which was an insightful way to gain technical knowledge and also meet with thousands of BBC staff. I believe my communication and relationship building skills to be of a high caliber.

I am a friendly, sociable and adaptable person and pride myself on my ability to get on with anyone in a professional manner, I enjoy working with a team and meeting new people as well as enjoying working individually.
