About me

I am a creative and technical worker, who would fit into any design company. I am incredibly enthusiastic, and am not limited within a particular style of company, I have worked for a wide range of companies and am highly motivated by all design, from luxury, high street and off beat.

I completed my degree in costume interpretation, and have a lot of knowledge of historical costumes, cuts and techniques. I learnt a huge range of techniques in order to realize complicated, and designs. Partly relying on innovation ad trasfer of skills and techniques.

I have just completed a post-graduate in Pattern Cutting t London College of Fashion in order to further my existing skills. I am always looking for news skills to learn - my next course will be advanced lingerie making - having already completed two previous lingerie courses which specialize in the intricate skills involved in bespoke lingerie.

I also have skills in millinery, beadwork, print and dye, feather work and other decorative techniques.

I can use illustrator functions, and have a small knowledge of Photoshop.

As somebody specializing in pattern cutting, I have a lot of knowledge of fabrics and their uses. I also have training in Gerber CAD/CAM technology, scanning, digitising, and manipulating patterns from digital blocks, and from scratch.
