ABOUT
1987 The Icon was an art exhibition paying homage to the original Nike Air Max 87 trainer created by Tinker Hatfield. His cutting-edge style and architecture design combined to create the first trainer with a visible air bubble. Trainer related artworks to purchase were on display alongside 150 pairs of Air Max Ones' including the iconic Air Max Safari.
My role was to provide PR, photography and a creative blog post to compliment this original exhibition. The exhibition received good reviews from Saatchi and Nike. This one day exhibition was extended from one day to three and the curators involved represented some of their artwork and original exhibition features at the Reebok Crooked Tongues exhibition in October 2013.
