About Lorrie
I have built a career that started in the family lithographic print business, through the dawn of DTP in instant print, on to Apple Mac system support, into magazine/newspaper publishing systems, newspaper production management and finally to newspaper editorial production in Ireland.
I am now looking to return to England and wish to use a combination of all the skills I have built up over the years in a new position. I would be happy in a full or part time role. I work well on my own or as part of a team and am able to run a department or follow orders.
Ideally I would like to work in an environment where I can still learn and improve on existing skills and where the work load is varied - I have always enjoyed being a 'jack of all trades' but would like to think I am the master of some.
Despite having had a more technical and creative role in past positions I would also be very happy in an administrative role where my organisational skills and sense of order would come in to play.
I am hard working, with a professional and committed work ethic. I am adaptable, personable, friendly and get on well with people from all walks of life. I try to do the best I can in everything I do and the small details matter to me as much as the overall picture.
Although currently living in Ireland I have family and friends around England who would accommodate me until such a time as I was able to complete my move back home.
