ABOUT
Concept: A poster advertising the call for academic papers on the body theme to be featured on the design history blog "Unmaking Things".
Execution/Results: Featuring a line-art variation from Michelangelo, the poster articulates figural elements and typography within a light, minimalist layout. The hardly sketched male torso, with its rough calligraphic strokes, suggests the fluidity, variety and all-encompassing reach of themes and narratives surrounding the subject of the body in art and visual culture.
