I love to 3d model in my spare time, which lead me to commit to my final
idea; a music video of animated 3d instruments that Mozart had played. I will have
background music, which will consist of some of the best pieces that Mozart had
composed. Angelina my interviewer, loved the idea and was just cautious about the
timing I had, to complete the artefact, but overall it went well.
The instruments are being played without someone pushing the keys, because
they are coded to play by itself, which links to Ada Lovelace’s theory in her notes. She
mentioned in her notes that in the future, codes will be able to create music pieces and
images. This is where the connection between Ada and Mozart is formed in my video.
The instruments that I selected are the Piano, Flute and Violin, which are the most
played instruments in the songs I chose. The video will have camera movement’s and
instrument’s being played as well as the process of how I constructed the 3d models.
