About us

Lola are a visual effects studio creating seamless high-end effects, CG imagery and graphics for feature films and high end broadcast TV.

The company was founded in 2000 by Grahame Andrew and Rob Harvey, who started their own studio after winning the Academy Award for Best Use of VFX in a Motion Picture for their work on Ridley Scott’s ‘Gladiator’. In addition to this major achievement the guys have won numerous awards in the field of visual effects over the last twenty years and are amongst the UK’s best known and respected supervisors with international feature film experience.

Lola’s ethos is to identify the best visual effects solution for your production; discussing scenes and ideas in pre-production to identify how to save shoot time, add value and spectacle to a show, often combining high speed purpose shot effects elements with CG elements to ensure an organic and highly credible end result.
