A logo design job for "Thanda Africa", an eco-tourism touring company, offering authentic South African experiences and tours. Work here is unused version.

I wanted to create something so colourful it would hurt, because that's what it's like in SA. We are as varied as we are alike and there is a genuine sense of freedom and fun here that is uniquely this country. The iconography is a mixture of all sorts, like a cultural circus or Main Street in Port Elizabeth. Storybook font stylistically reminds us of days gone by, when storytelling was done on the pages of paper books- and storytelling is something easy here in Africa where every rock speaks, it's part of who we are! T

This version has extras added for portfolio purposes, I begun to playfully think of Thanda Africa as Thanda Africa's Luxury South Africa San Pedro Tours- the bright colours and pattern elements begun to look like a circus or LSD trip. 0800 GET WILD!
