A re-visualisation of the eleventh century Persian poems of Omar Khayyam as rendered in English verse in the mid 19th century by writer Edward FitzGerald. Humanistic poems that transcend time, concerning mortality and making the best of being alive. Intaglio drypoint with chine colle and lino printing with accents in gold leaf. Books hand-bound in vegan leather with gold foil blocking. Book project accompanied by original textiles created with illustrations from the book to include a silk printed hijab scarf and a gold foil blocked vegan leather picnic tote bag.
