ABOUT
SurveyMonkey Apply is grant and application management software. Software like that is difficult to make anyone feel something about, which is exactly why the strongest story is never the product. LocalEyes produced a three-minute customer story built around the Town of Breckenridge, Colorado, and what a streamlined application process made possible there: more than $6.5 million awarded in grants, sending thousands more children to quality education in a tight-knit mountain community.
We filmed on location in Breckenridge, interviewing the people who run the program and capturing the town itself. The edit gives the software very little screen time on purpose. The subject is the community, and the platform appears as the thing that removed the friction between a family applying and a child getting funded.
That is the difference between a case study video and a customer story. A case study lists what a product does. A customer story shows what a customer did with it, which is the version a prospect can imagine themselves inside.
What this project demonstrates:
⦁ Customer story and testimonial production for a B2B SaaS client
⦁ Location filming with real program stakeholders, not actors or scripted spokespeople
⦁ An outcome-first narrative anchored on a specific, verifiable client result
⦁ Longer-form storytelling that holds attention for three minutes
Every industry has a version of this story. Our job is finding the one your customers will retell.
