About me

Recently completed the master's degree of MA Creative Sound Production. Lloyd has gained experience in the following: use of different microphone techniques for live recording, composing various different styles/contexts of music, mixing, modular/graphical programming environments (EG Pure Data), recording foley/sfx for video/film, sound design (composed a full sound design for an animation including all foley/sfx and musical soundtrack), surround sound (5.1, octophonic) production/mixing, and academic research. Lloyd also has experience with Pro Tools which is used in all the studios at Swansea Trinity St David, and he is also highly competent with Reaper and a range of other software for sound production including an array of plugins.

Lloyd is extremely hard working with excellent numeracy and literacy skills, and a high proficiency in the use of a range of modern computing technology for a variety of applications including sound production. Lloyd has gained transferable skills from a range of previous work and academic experiences which would be useful in any work environment. With a polite and approachable attitude Lloyd is able to develop good relationships with other people both inside and outside of work. Lloyd adapts well to change in environments where priorities change quickly.
