ABOUT

This project was my third year major project. It was a self negotiated project, so I decided to base it on something I was very fond of as a child. Roald Dahl was one of my favourite authors growing up, and therefore Quentin Blake had a big part to play in my desire to be an illustrator. I was unsure if the project would be a risk as Quentin Blake is greatly associated with Dahl books, however I feel that the book covers I have produced have given the Dahl books a fresh, contemporary appearance. Overall I am happy with these book covers, and am looking forward to producing more work in a similar way.
