OnePlus feels so much love from their customers all year round that on Valentine's Day they wanted to give some back. But how does a challenger brand stand out among the million dollar marketing campaigns at this cluttered time of year?

OnePlus 3T fans are passionate about their tech. So we borrowed their heartfelt tweets for our script. Our film makes the viewer believe each lover was speaking to another.

At 1min we realise they’re speaking to their phone and the scene suddenly flips and descends into a phone-licking ballet of epic proportions. Then we waited for the trolls.

Our polarising video became one of the internet’s hottest topics for Valentine's Day. With millions of views and thousands of "WTF?!"s. Some were repulsed and others rejoiced, everyone reacted.

The video got more than a million views on Youtube within 48 hours and is the most liked OnePlus Youtube video to date.
