Dear Sir/Madam

This email is in response to your job listing for Middleweight Designer. I am a designer with 4 years experience, I have been working at a design agency based in Covent Garden for the last three years and feel I am ready for a new challenge. I am predominantly a print designer but I also have a lot of experience designing websites and emails which are then handed over to developers. I have also had a little experience maintaining websites using Dreamweaver and Flash.

I have attached my CV and a few samples of work, my website also has some examples of recent work, *.

During the last 4 years I have designed a wide range of items including brochures, leaflets, magazines, invites, posters, banners, advertisements, advertorials, logos, brand Identity, exhibition graphics, packaging, and websites for numerous clients ranging from food & drink to healthcare & beauty to NHS. Clients include Weetabix, Vaseline, Tesco, Crown, Evening Standard, Take a Break. I regularly deal directly with clients and printers, and I'm also comfortable meeting and presenting to clients. I often lead projects and manage junior designers and freelancers.

In my spare time I love going to exhibitions and painting canvases to decorate my flat, this hobby comes in very handy at christmas and birthdays! At weekends you will often find me trawling around antique shops and markets.
