For my final major project for Univeristy I looked into and researched the disorder D.I.D ( Dissociative Identity Disorder). Through a short film i was able to show what the disorder would look like if the person suffering from it could not only mentally but also physically transform into each of the identities that he/she has. I showed the transition into each personality/identity through make-up/prosthetic make-up, hair/postiche work and costume. I had one model, with multiple different characters making him look different as if it is a different person. The aim of this project is to bring awareness of D.I.D and acquaint more people with what the people that are suffering from this disorder are going through and experiencing on a daily basis.
