About me
My career started in retail in California (over 28 yrs ago) creating retail graphics for including Esprit (San Francisco). Later much of my work was in corporate design (identities, brochures etc) but I began to specialise in book design when I moved to the UK in 1990. My last employed position was art director for BBC Books (3yrs to 2001) after which a became freelance to spend more time with family and pursue art interests. I am equally happy thinking in 3D as 2D and would love to expand the breadth of my design work. Aside from graphic design, I have kept creatively active through making glass sculpture. This sensitivity to art art and design could be a particular advantage to your company. Fluent on CS5, I have a refined sense of typography, and an interest in exciting materials. In recent years I have been involved in web site styling so have a good understanding of web design. It would fantastic to be part of a creative team again
