‘Tales of Us’ is a unique cinema event marking the return of one of music's most breathtaking and critically acclaimed artists.

We provided art direction for the films inspired by the remarkable new album, which were screened as a whole and followed by an intimate live performance exclusively for cinema audiences, resulted in a stunning state of the art audio and visual cinema experience.

This included a spooky midnight foggy woods, a handmade stickn-n-twigs fort in a bluebell field (which we promptly napped in) and various quickly fashioned ethereally conceptual domestic settings out in the middle of nowhere.

The one-off screening of the thirty-minute film anthology Tales of Us, was shown by Arts Alliance Media in select theatres across the UK, Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand on the evening of 4 March. Co-created by Alison Goldfrapp and Gunning, the film follows five characters—Stranger, Laurel, Jo, Drew and Annabel—and spans themes of love, loss, madness and identity. The film was followed immediately by an exclusive live performance by Goldfrapp transmitted into cinemas from AIR Studios in London
