Since 2014 Northern Bloc has strived to create innovative ice cream flavours for both retail and food service. They have also worked on enhancing and refining their plant-based range so that ice cream can be enjoyed by everybody

Northern Bloc’s new venture - Ice Cream for dogs is made with fresh fruit and is lactose free. It is now stocked in hundreds of venues and tourist attractions in the UK and every purchase will see a portion of the sale go to Dogs Trust charity.

The brief was to research, concept and layout ideas for the ice cream tubs. With so many choices in treats for dog owners to choose from, it was imperative that the design stood out against the market whilst feeling relevant to the brand. We decided to go down the illustration route as we wanted to show a pup with character, that was friendly and inviting.
