About me

I am a recent graduate from The University of Huddersfield and am looking to further develop myself within a team in the creative industry.

I am a strong communicator with the ability to work as part of a team as well as communicate effectively with outside clients in order to get the most out of any given brief. I have learnt through past work experiences that it is important to have a strong customer focus and a professional attitude to work.

I have strong knowledge of design packages such as Photoshop, Illustrator, In design, Acrobat, Freehand and knowledge of Quark both on Mac and PC platforms. I also have an interest in Flash of which I intend to develop through a night course. Within these packages I am confident in image manipulation, re touching, layout design and typesetting among other skills. I can quickly absorb and understand briefs to produce effective concepts that I can develop and communicate effectively through different medias.

I am a problem solver and take pride in the work I produce ensuring that it is completed to the best professional standards and fits the requirements of the brief. I am able to work effectively under pressure and am flexible to tight deadlines with the ability to drive to other locations and work extra hours. I have a keen interest in photography and typography, which is shown through my work. I have the ability to take a brief from start to finish with knowledge of printing techniques and an understanding of the important relationship between printers and designers. I'm a self-organised person and have excellent time management never missing a deadline.
