The metal spinning process gave rise to the initial form of the aluminium Cell Lamp, a simple shape inspired by a milk churn encasing a light source. This process has then been developed with a special edition range, where the shade has been anodised with various materials and been made with different materials. The bamboo has then been used to create a cage – cradling and protecting the shade within. The two designers chose bamboo as at Liqui we can't think of a better material that highlights what we're about. It's sustainable, hard wearing and looks amazing. The result is a design that is not only beautiful, but also versatile.

The Cell Lamp comes in a number of variants and finished inspired by the designers work within the interior design field. This work prompted the realisation that there is a need for a lighting range that has the flexibility to be used in a variety of ways. These gold special editions bring a touch of finesse to the Cell Range. The design subsequently offers a coherent lighting solution for any environment.
