As a brand, Yankee Candle were navigating a staggered rebrand from US to EMEA markets, with a new in store environment developed to align with the updated branding. Products were also taking a staggered approach, meaning old-label jar candles would sit alongside new-label products.
As part of the EMEA brand marketing team I worked alongside our own visual merchandising team and creative agencies for concept and retail design. I provided in-store navigation design and creative artworking for Spring thematic concepts across point of sale and windows for the first rebranded Yankee Candle retail stores in the UK.
A promotional campaign for the new-look store opening was designed and situated in shopping centres, newspapers and in-store leaflets.
Product promotions called for simple and eye-catching new designs, whilst collections and seasonal ranges had thematics created by a Bristol-based creative agency.
I used these thematics to artwork various outputs for in-store point of sale, window displays and other assorted collateral.
