Dear Max is a response to the Roughcut 60 Second Film Challenge. It's a condensed version of 'Take Care' with added dialogue.

The theme this year was 'Secrets' which inspired me to make a film about feelings I wish I could tell my ex-partner.

I've always found the relationship you have with an ex really strange, from one day to the next everything changes and you find yourself with all this love and concern that you don't really know what to do with anymore. Neither of us wanted to break up but it's something we both agreed we had to do. Over a short period of time, communication broke down and on the rare occasion that we did speak, it felt awkward as if though we were holding back however we felt. So I decided to put all of my 'secrets' into a film.
