TooMuch; Our Individualistic Society,
I chose to design a book that hi-lighted how individualistic society has become, and how we are affected by it.
I used myself as the subject for this project to create a graphically designed self portrait. I used black paper with black ink to show the inner voice that we are all plagued by, our insecurities and worries, the sad voice. Then I used colourful tippins to distract from this making sure there was no black present on these colourful happy tippins which were to express our outer personas, a person at their best.
The whole book and concepts reflects the way in which we present ourselves to one another, only ever really bringing focus to the good in life to distract from the sadness of reality.
