I recently left Red Square media as an editor for their Bank of Ireland online videos before this I had been working for "An Lár TV" as their director of television/film and their editor. Within these roles my duty's entailed a range of tasks from researching, graphics ,presenting, shooting and editing. Over this time I have directed and edited a number of projects, from documentaries on the famine to "An Lár TV"'s two seasons of the Bilingual Irish/English magazine show "An Mol". My main job for this was to make a high quality show on a small budget, this meant shooting and editing the two seasons myself while directing other project at the same time. The show "An Mol" has been shown in America on M.H.Z. networks "Today's Ireland" alongside many of R.T.E and TV3 TV shows.
I also work with Tim Kelly former Today fm now Nova presenter and the Irish ghosthunters, where I film and edit their work. I have worked alongside Gordon Hayden for TV3's show involving the Irish ghost hunters aswell as working with TV3 on a number of occasions as a freelance runner for "Sitting on a fortune", the unaired pilot of "Snaptastic" and "The Lie". I have filmed one of Saturday:AM's pre-recorded pieces with Sinead Dalton,
I hold a B.A in Creative Digital Media from the Institute of Technology Tallaght where I finished with a First Class Honor's and a G.P.A of 3.68
On the social media side of things, I co-run The Irish ghosthunters facebook page and have ran the An Lár TV page as well.
I have also produced and presented the longest running radio show on I.T.T FM Called "The Republic Of Lewis", I ran the show as if it was not a college show but a mainstream radio show. This meant I would get interviews that were on par with regional and national radio. Some of these guests include Donovan's first European interview after he became inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Embrace, Ocean Colour Scene, Kodaline, Mundy, Delorentos, The Dubliners, Paul Gallagher and many more which has given me a strong guest book list .
I have strongv skills in Final Cut, adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Avid editing as well as Pro Tools for sound to name a few . I have hands on experience with a wide range of camera from DSLR's to Black Magic 4ks. I have written treatment's for Spike UK after a meeting at last year's MIPTV.
