I had to design a UI as well as graphics for a thermostat application which could control the temperature in a house. The brief was that the design must have a main screen with information about each room, a way to control the temperature, a timetable for when set changes are to be made to the heating control and a way to add a new session to change the heat. I experimented using two different themes: a silver and blue theme. My design is based on a flat design principle - the graphics are simple and clean. Also I made sure that each screen is not over-complicated and that the user can easily navigate between each screen. See the following images for the result.
